The Phrasemaster Mk1 is a metahost. It behaves like a plugIn to its host sequencer, while it is a rearranging sequencer and a VSTi host itself.

You can load any VSTi compatible instrument and output your phrasing via this instrument without latency. This chaining concept makes the Phrasemaster Mk1 easy and versatile to use in any VSTi hosting sequencer without any MIDI routing tricks that are often difficult and no proprietary technologies.

You can invoke the editor of your hosted instrument or browse its patches directly and very easily via the Phrasemasters user interface.

Last but not least, it is possible to load and save programs and banks of your hosted instrument.

It is a big source of inspiration, an exciting experiment and great fun for trying out your phrases on different instruments and their different patches.
